Hoya Medusa (very rare)

Hoya medusa MDDe Leon, Cabactulan, Cuerdo & Rodda, sp. November (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae). This stem type Hoya is endemic to the Philippines. Although many taxa are known with shrub habits from this area, it can be readily separated because of its urceolate corolla and prominent elongated coronal lobes. No other species in the genus has such a combination of characters, stocks are very limited.
