Hoya gildingii comes from Sabah, Kalimantan (Malaysia), first collected by Eva Karin Wiberg in 1995. It can be found in Kota Kinabalu National Park at an altitude of 1400 – 1600 meters above sea level. Named after Edward Gilding, a famous traveler and hoya collector. and the latest information that Hoya gildingii was published by D. Kloppenburg in 2002. in the Fraterna bulletin. This type of Hoya is classified as super rare and my stock is very limited.
