This plant is an epiphyte or lithophyte that grows primarily in humid tropical biomes, in the forests of Timika and Papua New Guinea (PNG), and spreads to Vanuatu. The leaves are green with a slight black margin on the leaf edge. The flower petals are thin and hairy, red mixed with white, with a red and white crown at the center. Plants are available at economical prices and bushy plants at different prices.
