Hoya apoda, found in Papua New Guinea (PNG). This plant was published by Spencer Le Marchant Moore, a British botanist who died in 1931. Apoda in the world of botany means not stemmed. I believe this refers to this Hoya having no visible stalk, which makes apoda a very apt name. the leaf structure is almost like the Unirana hoya but the flowers are very different. The flower has white star petals with a cream colored corona with a combination of red and yellow at the center.
